Silverdale Medical Centre strives to provide accessible, evidence based medical care of the highest quality to our ethnically diverse population. We endeavour to forge long-term supportive relationships with patients and their families empowering them to contribute to their own healthcare and health promotion.  A small, friendly practice that has been established for over thirty years we seek to achieve a friendly, approachable atmosphere and maintain the core values of traditional General Practice.

We are proud to announce the completion of our new premises, and have more rooms to provide additional services and are hoping to work with our patients to engage services that will meet the needs of the population.

Your GP practice is open

NHS leaders and GPs in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) are reminding patients that their GP practice is open during the lockdown period and that they should contact their practice for medical advice and treatment.

The reminder comes as the NHS enters the busy winter period and attendances at the emergency department at Leicester Royal Infirmary start to rise.

Consultations for symptoms which can be diagnosed remotely will take place over the phone or via a video link. This has proven to be very effective, with some patients preferring to be treated from their home. Patients could be asked to attend their practice for a face-to-face consultation if their GP feels it is necessary.

Because more people are contacting practices by phone, some patients may experience delays when calling, but please bear with your practice.
